Two of my favorite comics ladies all mashed up.
My second (well, third, actually, if you count the alternate hair on my first one) entry for radiomaru’s Alternate Ramona Contest.
I think I might have gone a little overboard and disqualified myself - it’s supposed to be a coloring contest and I pretty much redrew most of it. But, like, I got into it. Gave me something to do while watching the paint on my walls dry.
Oh, yeah, I didn’t give a sob story last time - but the painting thing… so, like, I’m needing to repaint parts of my apartment to get my deposit back. I hadn’t planned on moving out, but the landlord discovered my dog, and dogs are against the lease, so I had to find another place. In order to do so, I have had to nearly max out my credit card to pay the deposit on the new place, have sold half my books and all my DVDs, and will be selling off seven years’ worth of comics because there’s not place to store them in the new apartment.
I mean, I guess that’s a sob story, right? The moral is that I love my dog and paint fumes make me go loopy. Oh, and I can’t actually draw or use photoshop well, which is why this took me all weekend.
